Description

Since the first version of the Commission’s guidelines for the ethical use of artificial intelligence and data in education was published in 2022, there has been an exponential growth in the use of AI by teachers and learners following the wave triggered by public access to generative AI (GenAI).

The newest version of the guidelines provides practical tools and concrete examples of AI use in education, while highlighting key ethical and practical considerations.

Addressed to teachers and school leaders, the guidelines are separated in three core parts: 1) core principles and legal context; 2) guiding questions and scenarios, and; 3) background resources.
