Short description

People who have lost their job in the private sector have in general the right to outplacement aid paid by their (former) firm. However, if this firm does not comply people may apply for outplacement paid by FOREM (Walloon public employment agency). Certain conditions and obligations have to be fulfilled and FOREM will pay outplacement costs up to EUR 1 500 via an outplacement voucher.

FOREM pays for outplacement costs up to EUR 1 500 via an outplacement voucher for people who have lost their job in the private sector, if their (former) employer does not comply with offering outplacement aid. Outplacement training has to start within 12 months after receiving the voucher.

Financing formula and allocation mechanisms
Forem pays outplacement training up to EUR 1 500 (via a dedicated outplacement training voucher). Outplacement training has to start within 12 months after receiving the voucher.
