Participation in learning is a key indicator of lifelong learning. Lifelong learning includes all learning activities undertaken throughout life to improve knowledge, skills, and competences for personal, civic, social, or employment-related purposes. This indicator measures the annual participation rate of employed individuals aged 25 to 64 in both formal and non-formal education and training over the past 4 weeks.
