Description

The Framework for the Digital Competence of School Principals was developed as part of Croatia’s “e-Schools” project to define the digital competences necessary for school principals to foster digitally mature schools. It emphasises the crucial role of principals in integrating digital technologies into school management and teaching. The framework, based on research and expert consultations, outlines key competency areas such as:

  • strategic planning,
  • digital technology integration,
  • staff and student development,
  • promoting a digital culture, and
  • upgrading digital infrastructure.

It also highlights the importance of continuous monitoring and evaluation to ensure effective implementation and compliance with legal regulations.
