Essentially, the apprenticeship subsidy for unemployed scheme follows both education law and labour law as well as collective agreements

The amount of subsidy from municipal employment authorities to companies is based on the length of unemployment and covers 30% (less than 1 year unemployment), 40% (at least 1 year of unemployment) or 50% (at least 2 years of unemployment) of the payroll costs for a period not exceeding 12 months.
