This scheme is intended to fund the recognition of competencies acquired through non-formal and informal learning for the individual to obtain a diploma or a certificate attesting to their competence. The highest amount of funding (provided as a lump-sum payment) for one person cannot extend the 0.47 of the minimum monthly salary approved by the government (EUR 301). All unemployed individuals are eligible for this scheme. No preferential treatment is applied.

- There is a bilateral agreement on non-formal and informal learning competences. It is concluded between the following actors: - Employment Services, which undertakes to pay for the services of recognition of competencies provided. - A person seeking recognition of competences. The Employment Service gives the unemployed person a document undertaking to pay the legal person entitled to recognition of non-formal and informal learning a specified amount of money for the recognition of non-formal and informal learning.

- The amount allocated by the Employment Service for the recognition of competences acquired through non-formal and informal learning shall not exceed 0.47 of the minimum monthly salary approved by the Government (EUR 301 since 2021). The funding (a lump-sum payment) is directly transferred to the institutions as costs reimbursement after the applicant submits a VAT invoice for the provided competence recognition services, and also submits a conclusion on the recognition of competences acquired through non-formal and informal learning.
