  • Entrepreneurship competence is founded upon creativity, critical thinking and problem solving, taking initiative and perseverance and the ability to work collaboratively in order to plan and manage activities that are of cultural, social or financial value;
  • it is one of the eight key competences for lifelong learning set out by the Council of the European Union in 2018;
  • according to the European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework (EntreComp), entrepreneurship competence applies to all spheres of life: from nurturing personal development, to actively participating in society, to (re)entering the job market as an employee or as a self-employed person, and also to starting up ventures (cultural, social or commercial).
