Thijs Viertelhauzen is a senior consultant at Ecorys Netherlands. He works since 2006 at Ecorys Labour and Social Inclusion. Previously he studied European Public Affairs and undertook research at the University of Maastricht. Thijs has extensive experience in undertaking policy research and providing policy advice in the field of intra-EU labour mobility, EU policies and institutions to support mobility. In addition, he has sound knowledge of the bridging education and the labour market. By working on various larger and smaller projects for the European Commission DG EMPL, he also obtained much experience with the development of research designs for measuring social impacts as well as for monitoring and evaluation purposes. His list of project references includes the monitoring and evaluation of the Your first EURES job preparatory action as well as the study on PES performance measurement systems and corresponding recommendations on geographical labour mobility indicators. Thijs was the project manager and researcher for the project on the EU tools and the labour market for Cedefop. |
