Stavroula studied Education at the University of Manchester and the University of Exeter and holds a Teacher Training qualification and Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills (QTLS) status. She has several years of varied teaching and curriculum development experience in the post-compulsory VET and Skills/Adult Education and Training sectors. Stavroula is currently a PhD candidate at Cardiff University examining the integrated (academic & vocational) Welsh Baccalaureate upper secondary curriculum and learners’ patterns of ‘Formal’ and ‘Epistemological’ access to the Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification. She keeps in touch with the everyday work that takes place in schools by volunteering on Secondary School Mentoring schemes for learners at risk of exclusion. |
