Arjen Deij has been working in international education reforms during 25 years, starting in 1989 in the higher education sector working for Nuffic (the Netherlands) and the Tempus Programme in Brussels. Joining ETF in 1994 , he switched to VET reforms with a focus on qualifications. For ETF he has been working with stakeholders and European projects in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Romania, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. He also worked for QCA in London during 2007-2008 . He has been actively involved in the implementation of the EQF and follows global developments in qualifications system reforms.
