Active labour market policies targeting NEETs

This project report provides an in-depth analysis of young people not in employment, education, or training (NEETs) in Europe, focusing on the 25-29 age group in Italy, Lithuania, and Malta. It highlights the challenges faced by NEETs, such as family responsibilities, lack of skills, and regional disparities. The report also examines the impact of green jobs and the green transition on the labour market, emphasising the need for targeted policies and training programmes to integrate NEETs into sustainable employment.

Various case studies and good practices from different countries showcase successful strategies for NEET activation and employment in green sectors. The report concludes with recommendations for improving NEET engagement and integration into the labour market through tailored interventions and cross-sector collaboration.
