An employer skills survey may focus on:

  • occupational structure: workforce composition and changes in this structure over time;
  • vacancies: understanding current skill needs;
  • skills: identification of most important or frequently needed skills;
  • training: actions organised or planned to address current and future skill needs;
  • job-related tasks: analysis of production processes and skills needed to perform the related tasks adequately.
