ReferNet collects information on – and monitors developments in – national VET policies and systems:

  • the VET in Europe database helps policy makers, social partners, researchers and other stakeholders better understand similarities and differences of national VET systems;
  • the Short descriptions contribute to better understanding of VET systems in countries that hold the presidency of the Council of the European Union;
  • the Spotlight on VET flyers provide a concise overview of VET in countries;
  • videos describe national VET systems;
  • the Thematic perspectives series of articles covers the priorities of the EU Presidencies and flagship initiatives;
  • national news stories highlight recent developments in VET and labour market issues in all countries;
  • the 29 national websites focus on national VET issues and enhance the visibility of Cedefop’s publications.
