Description
This report provides a comprehensive assessment of three pilot schemes implemented in Italy, Lithuania, and Malta, aimed at integrating young people not in employment, education, or training (NEETs) aged 25-29 into the green jobs. It covers the intervention's relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, sustainability, transferability, scalability, and innovativeness.
Key findings include the intervention's success in improving employment opportunities and skills related to the green economy, the creation of effective channels between NEETs and green employers, and the importance of flexibility in programme design to accommodate local contexts.
The evaluation also highlights the need for longer internships, better alignment between training and internships, and tailored outreach strategies to enhance participation and outcomes.
