Sebastian Stetter is a Policy Coordinator in DG Employment, Unit ‘European employment strategy, CSR, local development’. He coordinates the work of DG Employment for the recently launched ‘New Skills for New Jobs’ agenda.
Prior to this he has worked in the European Social Fund coordination Unit of DG Employment where he was also involved in the set-up of the European Globalisation adjustment Fund.
Before joining the European Commission he worked for the EU liaison office of German research organisations, in the area of intensifying cooperation with the research community of the Central and Eastern European countries following their accession to the EU.
Sebastian started his professional career as a consultant in the private sector, focusing on the areas of education, training and research.
