Marie-Béatrice Rochard Print E-mail
RochardMarie-Béatrice Rochard is director of the Regional Observatory of Training and Employment (OREF) of the Centre Region (France) since 2002. The OREF, set up within a bigger structure called ‘GIP Alfa Centre’, is financed half-and-half by the State and the Regional Council (33 employees). Representatives from employees and companies take part in the board of directors.
Marie-Béatrice Rochard is leading a forecasting approach in the Centre Region since 2004. As an analyst of the relationship between training and employment, she was research engineer at the Cereq (Research Centre on qualifications). In 2001-02, within the ‘Economy, education, employment’ mission at the Ministry of Education, she followed the forecasting work on ‘qualifications and training needs by 2010’ with BIPE. She is currently representing all OREFs in the technical group of CAS (Centre d’analyse stratégique): ‘Forecasting jobs and qualifications’ on employment and qualification projections for France by 2020.
