Trevor Hussey, BA., MA., D. Phil.
After qualifying in mechanical engineering I was, for a period, a design engineer but, at twenty nine, I decided on a change. I entered Balliol College in the University of Oxford to study philosophy and psychology, and then began a career in academia.
I taught philosophy and some psychology at, what is now, Buckinghamshire New University. In the 1990s I returned to Oxford and obtained a doctorate in the philosophy of science. Before retiring I was awarded an emeritus professorship in philosophy.
