Through policy oriented research and participation in various advisory groups, including the European Qualifications Framework Advisory group, she has contributed to the design and implementation of European and national policies. She has published in the fields of national qualifications frameworks and curriculum developments, textbooks, validation of non-formal learning and quality assurance.
Before joining Cedefop in May 2009, she had worked for ten years at the National Institute for Vocational Education and Training in Slovenia. As assistant director and head of development and research department she was actively involved in the overall development of the VET system as well as of qualifications and curriculum in Slovenia.
She holds (research) Master’s Degree in Science.
