| Mara Brugia is the Head of the Area ‘Enhanced Cooperation in Vocational Education and Training and Lifelong Learning’. The Area’s activities focus on (i) helping shape and implement the common European tools and principles supporting reform of VET and lifelong learning (e.g. the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), the European multilingual classification of skills, competences, occupations and qualifications (ESCO), the European Credit system for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET), Validation of non-formal and informal learning, and Europass); (ii) analysing approaches and trends in adult and work-based learning/apprenticeship to support policy making; and (iii) coordinating study visits for education and vocational training specialists. |
