Manuel Souto-Otero                     Dr. Manuel Souto-Otero is Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in the Department of Education of the University of Bath. He is also an Associate Editor of the Journal of Education and Work, where he recently edited a special issue on the ways in which learning outcomes are affecting education and training systems from a comparative perspective. Dr. Souto-Otero has undertaken a large body of research for the European Commission and Cedefop, as well as other international organisations, in the area of education and training including the direction of the last three editions of the European Inventory on Validation of Non-Formal and Informal Learning.
