Lorenz Lassnigg is senior researcher and head of the research group equi: employment-qualification-innovation (www.equi.at) at the Institute for Advanced Studies (www.ihs.ac.at) in Vienna. His research interests are education and training policy, evaluation of labour market programmes, organisation research and policy analysis. He has served as a consultant to the OECD, the EU, the ILO and the ETF, and conducted several research projects, including the development of the Austrian lifelong learning strategy and the basic conception of the National Qualification Framework. He currently works on the establishment of a monitoring of the lifelong learning strategy.
