
	Ernesto Villalba

				Ernesto Villalba is an expert at the European center for the development of Vocational Education and Training (Cedefop) since 2011. He has worked in the development of the European Skills passport within the Europass framework and in monitoring ECVET developments in 2012. Currently he is working on the follow up of the Council recommendation on validation of non-formal and informal learning and is coordinating the update of the European Inventory on validation as well as providing input on the issue to the EQF Advisory Group.
		Before joining Cedefop he worked as freelance and as scientific officer at the Center for Research on Lifelong Learning (CRELL) at the Joint Research Center of the European Commission. He has several publications relating to European policies and especially concerning the measurement of cross-curricula competences. He is in the editorial board of the Creativity Research Journal and the ejournal International Journal of Creativity and Human Development and has served in different committees and working groups. He holds a Ph.D. in International and Comparative Education from Stockholm University.
