Isabelle Le Mouillour is head of division "Basic Issues of Internationalisation / Monitoring of Vocational Education and Training Systems" at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB; Germany; http://www.bibb.de/en/1480.htm). She carries out comparative research and policy advice on issues relevant to the European VET policy such as permeability in education and training, in-company training and apprenticeship as well as policy learning/borrowing. Since December 2012 she leads several bilateral projects for the development of dual apprenticeship approach in selected European countries on behalf of the Central Office for international cooperation in VET and BIBB (for a brief insight: http://www.bibb.de/en/64861.htm) following the so-called Berlin Memorandum.
She graduated in economics at the University of Amiens (France) and Kassel (Germany). She has worked many years as research assistant at the University of Kassel at the Centre for Research on Higher Education and the Institute for Ergonomics and occupational psychology. She worked five years as senior expert at the European Agency for the development of vocational education and training (Cedefop).
