Graduated in Philosophy- Science of Education at “La Sapienza” University of Rome, I have experience teaching in upper secondary school and, as trainer, in the IVET pathways for young people.
Since 2001, I have been working as researcher in ISFOL - Institute for the Development of Vocational Training. During the first 3 years, I carried out researches and analyses on apprenticeship for young people, including the legislation aspect, supporting stakeholders in national and regional boards and working with vocational agencies to promote innovative teaching methods.
I'm currently working in the field of three-years IVET pathways for young people for the fulfilling of compulsory education, analysing IVET policy with regard to the development of Italian education system also from a normative point of view. I also study and analyse teaching innovative methods applied to IVET courses in order to facilitate learning process for IVET students and preventing early school dropout.
Since 2007, I have been carrying out ISFOL national surveys on training demand of young people and their families, and on formative and occupational outcomes of young graduates in three-years IVET pathways.
Since 2005 I have been teaching in “La Sapienza” - University of Rome- as professor of Teaching Methodology, Faculty of Medicine, Courses of Health Professions, also following the students’ work/study development. |
