Dr Triantafillia Kourtoumi serves as a Senior Archivist- Historian at the General State Archives of Greece and the Director of the Historical Archives of Macedonia (2008-2013); as an associate lecturer at the Department of Human Studies of the Hellenic Open University; as an associate lecturer at the Department of Librarian and Information Studies, the Technological Educational Institution of Greece; as an associate lecturer at the Hellenic National Centre of Public Management; as an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Social and Educational Policy, University of Macedonia; as an educational consultant at the International Center of Public Administration. She is mainly focused on exploratory studies of knowledge management applications in the archival domain for educational purposes. She is a visiting fellow at the Center for Migration and Development, Princeton University and the Immigration History Research Center, University of Minnesota. She speaks Greek, English, Russian, Bulgarian and Turkish.
