Stavroula studied Education at the University of Manchester and the University of Exeter and holds a Teacher Training qualification. She is currently a PhD candidate at Cardiff University studying the integrated (academic & vocational) Welsh Baccalaureate upper secondary curriculum and learners’ patterns of ‘formal’ and ‘epistemological’ access to the Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification. Stavroula has several years of teaching and curriculum development experience in the post-compulsory and skills sectors. She is currently a secondary school mentor working with learners at risk of exclusion. With a background in Health Education/Health Promotion she has been a core member of research teams undertaking health and education programme evaluations in a variety of national and international contexts.
