Sogol Noorani is an Education Policy and Systems Analyst at Eurydice – the European network providing information on and analyses of education systems and policies in all countries participating in the EU's Erasmus+ programme. She has a background in Educational Science, Cross-Cultural Psychology and European Politics. Her main research interests are education policies in the area of school achievement and motivation, equity in education and inclusive education. She is a co-author of various Eurydice publications, including on 'National Testing of Pupils', 'Teaching Reading', 'Mathematics Education', 'Learning and Innovation through ICT in Schools', 'Teachers and School Leaders', and 'National Education Budgets'. Currently, she is coordinating a comparative thematic report on 'Tackling Early Leaving from Education and Training in Europe: Strategies, Policies and Measures', which is a joint publication with Cedefop.
