This involves:
Taking part in the policy processes of the large and small reforms in the area over the years
A particular focus on the problem of early leaving and drop outs from VET in Denmark, the scale of the problem, the nature of the problem and the measures to prevent and remediate the problem.
A focus on young people with social, personal and professional challenges in the education system
The role of councelling and guidance of young people in their transition from school to upper secondary/VET education
Cross-sectoral cooperation and coordination between the key actors in the arena, i.e. schools, youth guidance centres, VET-education institutions, gymnasiums
The link to active labour market policy in Denmark where youth unemployment is met with education measures
