Barbara BAUMAN is a senior adviser in in the Department of Research and Development strategies in the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Vocational Education and Training (CPI). Her main activities and responsibilities are quality monitoring and evaluation based on different indicators in the field of VET. She works on preparation of development strategies and supplementation of methodological foundations necessary for the preparation of system measures and is regularly active in national and international development projects. A few years ago she was also responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of the “model” for the prevention of school failure and drop out in VET.
