Anna Rubin is a policy analyst at the OECD’s Local Economic and Employment Development Programme in the Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, and Local Development. Her work focuses on employment, skills and local governance, particularly as it relates to youth. Prior to joining the OECD, she worked with organizations and agencies at a number of policy levels, including San Francisco’s Department of Children, Youth, and their Families; the US Department of Labor; and UNESCO. She also worked in the field of programme evaluation for a number of years, including projects on dropout prevention in persistently dangerous schools in the United States and youth organizing models. She has a BA in Psychology and a Master in Public Policy from the University of California Berkeley.
