Day 2 of the  9th annual meeting for CareersNet experts took place online on 29 January 2026 (9:15 to 17:00 CET). This year’s meeting and workshop took place on two separate, non-consecutive dates. Day 1 was held on 11 December 2025 (9:30 to 16:30 CET).

The last two network meetings gathered network core experts in person at venues in Sweden (2023) and Finland (2024) in connection with conference opportunities for members. This year, the annual meeting was hosted online to accommodate core and alternate members, outgoing and incoming members in two different days.

Members gathered online over the two days.

On Day 2 the meeting activities included:

  • discussing selected key themes of the framework for lifelong guidance policies and systems used as a basis for network activities (and as a structure the LLG Inventory of systems and practices)
  • sharing views, national practices, member research and other activities, for building knowledge on the themes under discussion, locating common priorities, challenges and areas to address in lifelong guidance across and within the field and the wider ecosystem
  • engaging in structured analytical discussions, with examples from the countries, leading to shared critical insights and observations
  • suggesting plans for future activities emerging from the day’s activities

Day 2 included enhanced opportunities for interaction, member thematic inputs, and groupwork facilitated by members.

Participation was restricted. Members received information, a link to register and join the meeting, and the draft agendas, separately, for the two meetings/workshops held on Day 1 (11 December 2025) and Day 2 (29 January 2026).

Eurofound, Cedefop, the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) and the European Training Foundation (ETF) are organising a Tripartite Exchange Seminar on digital and artificial intelligence and the role of social dialogue. It is aimed at strengthening the capacity of social partners and governments to engage and act effectively in social dialogue.

The TES 2026 focuses on the role of social dialogue in the digital and artificial intelligence (AI) transitions in EU Member States and selected candidate countries.

The TES aims at assisting and enabling social partners to address the challenges of the digital and AI transitions in all types of social dialogue (national, cross-sectoral, sectoral and company level).

The TES 2026 has been designed to increase awareness, factual and methodological knowledge and to expand networking capacity of participants. It lays the foundation for ongoing knowledge sharing and joint action between participants via practice groups and/or informal arrangements for transnational cooperation.

The TES 2026 has three interactive modules:

  1. Online introductory and preparation session (13 May 2026)
  2. Residential face-to-face session in Brussels, Belgium, hosted by the European Economic and Social Committee (10-12 June 2026 - provisional)
  3. Online follow-up knowledge sharing sessions (9 December 2026)

More information on the TES 2026 are available on Eurofound website.

Applications closed on 8 December 2025 and attendance is on invitation only.
