Prof. Dr. Albert Tuijnman, European Investment Bank,
Luxembourg

Dr. Tuijnman is senior economist for human capital at the
European Investment Bank. He also is honorary professor at the
University of Nottingham and the Danish University of Education.
He is a Member of the Task Force for Education and Gender
Equality of the UN Millennium Development Goals and elected
Fellow of the International Academy of Education. Previously he
was a Principal Administrator at the OECD with responsibilities for
publications such as Education at a Glance, Lifelong Learning for
All, Education Policy Analysis, and the International Adult Literacy
Survey. He has written and edited over 25 books and 100 papers
in his field of interest.
