Giorgio Brunello is Professor of Economics at the University of Padova, Italy, IZA and CESifo Research Fellow and member of the EENEE network on the economics of education at the European Commission. He holds a PhD from Osaka University, Japan. His areas of recent academic research include the economics of education and training, applied health economics, and labour economics. He has acted as consultant for the European Commission and the OECD. Among his latest publications in the area of training is a book published by Oxford University Press.
