Elido Bandelj

Representative of the Directorate for Secondary, Postsecondary
and Adult Education, Head of Department for Adult
Education.

Born in 1958, studied Physics at the University of Ljubljana. He
worked as a teacher and for 13 years as a principle of the
Secondary Technical School of Koper. He has been involved in
strategic and legislative reform of the Slovene education
system for 15 years. Member of various national committees
for training and employment policies, published several text
books and articles about various education topics. He has
worked for the Ministry of Education and Sport since 2003, first
as a State Secretary for Secondary Education and since 2006
as a Head of Department for Adult Education.
