Emmanuel Hassan is an economist at the Directorate General "Employment, Social Affairs & Equal Opportunities". In his position, he has concentrated on the analysis of the impact of innovation on skills, wages and productivity. Before joining the European Commission, he worked at the OECD as an economist on R&D and innovation issues. Emmanuel Hassan received a Ph.D. in Economics from University Paris - Dauphine and a Master in Business Law from the University Paris - Nanterre in France.
