 Iñigo Isusi has extensive experience in socio-economic studies and research. His work has covered a wide range of economic and enterprise subjects (labour, CSR, continuing training, sectorial and SMEs studies, innovation,...). In this sense, Mr Isusi has acted as a consultant for the Spanish and several Spanish regional governments, as well as for several international organisations (i.e. European Commission, European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, CEDEFOP, OECD, Inter American Development Bank,...). Particularly in the education and training domain, he has been involved in several projects (several projects for the Leonardo programme intended to analyse existing training practices and training-related problems amongst SMEs; a project for the OECD for compiling a catalogue of relevant international experiences of demand-led financing of lifelong learning and, finally, two projects for CEDEFOP on Sector Training Funds and Tax Incentives in Europe. In addition to this, he has been recently involved in a project for DG Employment and Social Affairs intended to identify emerging competences in the European Union shipbuilding sector.
