Galia Bozhanova has a M.Sc. in economics and M.Sc in project management with 10 years experience in development of Employers’ policies in the field of VET. Ms. Bozhanova is a director of the Vocational training department at the Bulgarian industrial association (BIA) – union of the Bulgarian business and since 2003 she also stands at the head of the VT Center at BIA, which is one of the major players on the market of adults’ training services aiming to achievement of labour market balance. She has participated in designing and implementation of a great number of projects for development of human resources on company, regional and national levels. Since 2004 she is also a secretary general of the Association of licensed vocational training centers in Bulgaria. Ms. Bozhanova is a co-author of the “National classification of occupations in Bulgaria”, published in 2006. At present, she is an Employers’ representative in the ACVT and in the governing boards of CEDEFOP and Eurofound.
