George Panayides is Director of Training Services at the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA), the national organisation that is responsible for the promotion of training and development in Cyprus. He holds academic qualifications in Economics and Labour Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. His 25 years with the HRDA cover a wide spectrum of issues in both the areas of Human Resources and Labour Market Research as well as national policies and measures for the promotion of training and development. Mr. Panayides is a member of the Governing Board of the Foundation for the Management of the Lifelong Learning Programme in Cyprus. He served as a member for Cyprus on the Advisory Forum of the European Training Foundation from 1999 to 2008.
