Comment
  • At regional level, a transnational qualifications framework associates countries that are in geographical proximity, often, but not necessarily organised within a regional association or body, for example the European qualifications framework;
  • at sectoral level, a transnational qualifications framework associates countries within or beyond the same region, but limited to a specific sector, for example the CARICOM TVET framework set up by the Caribbean community.
