The second application round to participate in study visits for educational and vocational specialists between March and June 2012 is closing at 12 noon Central European Time on 14 October 2011.

Those responsible for educational and vocational training policies at local, regional and national levels, including directors of education and vocational training establishments, guidance centres and validation and accreditation centres; teacher trainers; education and training inspectors; and representatives of employers associations and trade unions, can apply for 106 study visits in 26 European countries.

Among others, the visits will explore ensuring equal opportunities for disadvantaged groups, quality assurance mechanisms in schools and training institutions, language teaching and learning, the use of ICT in learning, teachers’ and trainers’ continuing professional development and career opportunities, increasing the attractiveness of VET and cooperation of educational and training institutions with their communities and the world of work.

Interested candidates should consult national agencies in their countries and submit their applications online at the study visits website by 12 noon Central European Time on 14 October 2011.
