Networks

ReferNet
ReferNet is a network created by Cedefop in 2002 to provide information on national vocational education and training (VET) systems and policies in Member States, Iceland and Norway. This information is displayed in Cedefop databases and is used for comparative studies. At country level it gives valuable insights into national VET systems. The network builds upon national consortia in each partner country. Every consortium is led by a coordinating institution and consists of key organisations involved in VET activities, including social partners.
Skillsnet
Skillsnet network welcomes researchers and experts active in early identification of skill needs and forecasting or in the transfer of research results on future skill requirements into policy and practice. Skillsnet members are involved in Cedefop activities related to identification of skill needs (forecasting, employer surveys, sectoral analysis) and receive privileged access to information.
Training of trainers network (TTnet)
The training of trainers network (TTnet), located in 22 countries, was established by Cedefop in 1998 as a pan European forum for key players and decision makers involved in the training and professional development of vocational teachers and trainers. TTnet aims to foster cooperation between key national actors; produce recommendations, guidance and tools for practitioners and decision makers, and support implementation of EU priorities for VET teachers and trainers.
