Cedefop has recently reorganised the former Area structure with the following main features.
The aim is to streamline the Centres work by bringing all reporting activities on research and policy under one roof (Area: Research and Policy Analysis, headed by Manfred Tessaring); putting together all activities related to the development and dissemination of European tools in VET, including EQF, ECVET and Europass (Area: Enhancing cooperation in VET and Lifelong Learning, headed by Mara Brugia); integrating the consolidated Study Visits Programme inside the latter Area; and bringing together all communications-related work (including publications, the conference service, public relations, language support and the library and documentation service) in the Communications, Information and Dissemination Area (Acting Head of Area: Marc Willem).
