Competitiveness and Innovation framework Programme new website

By tabling the first Competitiveness and Innovation framework Programme (CIP) the Commission has adopted a coherent and integrated response to the objectives of the renewed Lisbon strategy. Running from 2007 to 2013, it proposes a budget of more than EUR 4 billion over the 7 year period.

In the meeting of the Commission for Economic and Social Policy of the Committee of the Regions of the European Union on Tuesday 3 May 2005 Mr. Harry Dijksma has been appointed rapporteur for the proposal for a Decision of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (2007-2013) COM(2005) 121 final. Through this website, we ask you to discuss about the CIP program and to provide the rapporteur with your critical comments on his draft report.
