As jobs and ways of working transform, so does the emphasis on skills and learning, said Cedefop Executive Director Jürgen Siebel in a keynote speech at the European vocational skills week (EVSW) 2019 main events in Helsinki.
The important role of learning providers as vocational education and training (VET) stakeholders was stressed at the first annual meeting of the European community of leaning providers on 13 and 14 March at Cedefop in Thessaloniki.
A community of practitioners to promote quality in vocational education and training (VET) delivery has been set up by Cedefop in close cooperation with the European associations of VET providers active in the cooperative network Vet4EU2.
The Cedefop seminar on 10 and 11 December discussed the needs and priorities of learning providers in relation to flexibility and the role quality is playing in it.
