The ‘Noor Meister 2011’ (Young Master) skills competition took place on 1 and 2 December 2011 as part of the information seminar ‘Teeviit’ (Road Sign).
The European Inventory 2010 provides a unique record on how validation is already being used at national, regional and local level to address issues relating to lifelong learning, employment and social exclusion.
The overall aim of the programme is to ensure equal opportunities in education and in the labour market for all the residents of Estonia, regardless of their mother tongue.
With the help of the ESF measure ‘Developing learner orientated and innovative VET and broadening the opportunities for lifelong learning’, 26 VET projects and 19 adult learning projects have been funded.
The purpose of the programme called ‘KUTSE’ (a play on words, meaning profession/calling/call) is to create opportunities for vocational education students whose studies have been disrupted, to finish up their studies. The programme is funded by the European Social Fund and the State.
Transfer to output-based curricula will also bring along changes in evaluation.
