The reception, which was attended by several MEPs, high-ranking government representatives and education leaders, underscored the agencys growing links to its host city and country.
During the autumn, Cedefop will be organising or co-organising several events, including:
- Tax incentives for education and training (Brussels, 22 September).

- Sharing the costs of training in the newer EU Member States (15-16 October).
All events are accompanied by the publication of Cedefop reports. One of these, on the dynamics of qualifications, was published over the summer, along with a report on the relationship between quality assurance and VET certification in the EU Member States.
