The role of social partners in implementing European tools for vocational education and training and lifelong learning

Cedefop is organising a seminar in the context of the Study visits programme for education and vocational training specialists addressed to European social partners.
The seminar participants are from employers and employees organisations and representatives from National Agencies which are responsible for the study visits programme. The event will be held at Cedefops premises in Thessaloniki on 26-27 February 2009.

The aim of the seminar is to offer an overview of the state of play and the main challenges of the common European tools for lifelong learning. The latest developments of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), the European Credit System for VET (ECVET), the European quality assurance reference framework for VET (EQARF) and Europass will be presented. The workshops will focus on ways of organising study visits on themes of interest to the social partners.
