The conference addressees are members of academic staff, high school teachers, people working in tourism and the hotel industry as well as all interested in the role of education in tourism and hotel management. It is especially worth stressing that the conference will take place on the 100 anniversary of the establishment of the Polish Country Lovers' Society, being the first Polish tourism organisation.
By suggesting a wide scope of the conference theme: education for tourism and hotel management, the organisers aim at arising great interest in the topic as well as at sharing the experiences, views and ideas for the future development of this field of study.
Conference discussions will concentrate on the three following problem areas:
- models of education for tourism and hotel management
- needs and expectations of the tourist job market
- analysis of the needs and expectations of the consumers of tourist services.
The organisers will publish the gathered conference materials so as to ensure a starting point for future actions aimed at the establishment of education directed to the purposes of tourism and hotel management.
