During 2003-2006, 13 countries hosted twenty-six study visits on the role of higher education institutions in providing vocational training. More than 300 participants took part in them.
On 19-20 March 2007 the Study visits team will hold a synthesis seminar on this theme. The seminar is aimed at summarising the experience of these study visits, discussing policy issues, stakeholder benefits and making proposals for dealing with the theme in the future within the framework of the study visits programme. The seminar will also look at some best practices from Member States.
The seminar is meant for nominated former participants of the study visits, representatives of host organisations and national coordinators.
