At a meeting organised by Cedefop and the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science in Sofia on 3 June, Cedefop presented the main findings of the skills governance review in the country.
At a meeting jointly organised by Cedefop and the Greek Ministry of Labour, Social Insurance and Social Affairs in Athens on 11 April, Cedefop presented to key Greek stakeholders the final results of the country support project ‘Governance of skills anticipation and matching in Greece: in-depth country review’.
At a meeting organised by Cedefop in collaboration with the Slovak Ministry of Education, Research, Science and Sport, in Bratislava, on 4 April, policy-makers and stakeholders discussed the way forward for skills governance in Slovakia.
Since 2017, and on their request, Cedefop has been working intensively with national authorities and stakeholders in Greece, Estonia, Bulgaria and Slovakia, to support them in strengthening their skills anticipation and matching capacities.
The new Cedefop database ‘Matching skills: Inspiring policies for anticipating and matching skill needs’ presents education and training and labour market policy instruments in EU Member States that aim to match individuals’ skills (jobseekers and students) to current and anticipated labour market needs.
